 B & G Equipment was founded in 1976 by a couple of loggers, W. J. Bates & Donald Grantham, Jr. We think since our founders came from the logging industry themselves, we have a better understanding of the logger and his needs. In January of 2005 W. J. Bates bought out his partner of 29 years. As the times change and the second and third generations of the Bates family are taking on more leadership roles, our goal still remains the same. We want to provide the customer with superior service & parts availability and we want to build a lasting relationship with our customers and the logging industry.
